Programming Description

This course on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging will provide a starting point for those interested in further exploration of EDIB and its evolution within social, economic and professional contexts. It addresses foundational concepts such as equal opportunity, bias, power, privilege and broader movements including anti-racism, de-colonization and reconciliation, 2S&LGBTQ+ and accessibility. The goal is for participants to become more confident with current terminology, available resources and practical ways to further their learning in order to move to action. We suggest taking this or a similar foundational program if you are considering additional programs in Brock’s EDIB suite of offerings.

Identify key historical events, and understand their link to the critical conversations today
