Course Description

In this micro-credential, learners will dive into the world of sustainability by examining what it means to take care of our planet. By understanding the basics of sustainability, learners will discover how our actions today can impact the future of the Earth. Learners will also examine the different ways people view the environment and sustainability initiatives and how varying perspectives impacts environmental efforts.

 

As learners become more aware of the environment’s current state, they will also examine systems thinking and change perspectives, identifying how change can help solve environmental problems and improve sustainability. Learners will put this knowledge into practice by diagnosing issues and strategizing ways to make real advancements in sustainable practices.
