Course Description

Introduction to language processes of reading and writing. Basic assessment procedures and improvement of reading skills. 

Learner Outcomes

critically explore and interprete Ontario's curriculum, policies, frameworks, strategies and guidelines for teaching reading *analyze and integrate learning theories and the individual strengths, styles and needs of learners *collaborate with colleagues and reflected upon learning throughout this course to help develop and/or support a strong reading program for learners

OCT MEMBERSHIP with qualifications in Primary, Junior, Intermediate or Senior.
