Programming Description
Integrated Logistics is a senior-level course designed to show how strategic integration strengthens logistics performance in modern, sustainable organizations. Throughout the course, you’ll explore how to build efficient, connected logistics systems by aligning every activity involved in the cost-effective, uninterrupted flow of materials and information—from origin to final customer.
You’ll learn to design and redesign responsive, fully integrated systems that operate seamlessly across cross-functional supply chain environments. Learner Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will
· Integrate end-to-end logistics systems by aligning key internal and external functions such as production planning, procurement, materials management, quality control, inventory control, warehousing, data exchange, finance, transportation, and customer service.
· Develop supply chain performance metrics that help you evaluate the financial impact of logistics strategies on profitability, return on investment, and core financial statements.
· Apply a range of inventory management approaches—including Just in Time, Material Requirements Planning, and Distribution Resource Planning—while making decisions using Total Cost of Ownership and Economic Order Quantity principles.
· Allocate physical and financial resources to the areas of the organization that best support the effectiveness and resilience of the overall logistics system.
